This short 8 week part time course is designed to provide both theory and practical experience in strategic business planning.

This short course will give participants an insight into the business planning industry in addition to practical experience working on actual client business plans along side a BusinessPlans Consultant.

The course if facilitated by Nigel Catt, a Director of BusinessPlans.com.au (see About Us). He has many years industry experience in strategic planning in addition to a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

Course numbers are also limited to 8 students.

    BP002 Simple Business Plans Structure and Applications
    BP003 Market research methodology
    BP004 Financial Analysis - Cash flow, Profit & Loss Projections
    BP005 SWOT Analysis & Strategy setting
    BP006 Client Relations and Management
    BP007 Practical experience module - Completion of simple business plans for bank finance loans up to $100,000
    BP008 Practical experience module 2 - Completion of a simple business plan for investors seeking up to $100,000

Coursework and course notes are provided. Students are required to bring their own lap top.

Assessment:  Assessment is based on the Practical business plans which are submitted at the end of the course.

Course Outcomes: An understanding of the strategic business planning market, a thorough understanding of business plan methodology, structuring a business plan and practical experience in completing business actual client business plans.
